I made a video of our 9 year anniversary. This could be for your first anniversary ideas, second year anniversary gift, or even 10 year anniversary gift. No need to do the typical gifts by year thing. Go with something original.
Recently, Gen and I celebrated 9 years of awesomeness together, our marriage anniversary. You start to realize how fast it goes sometimes. My how time flies when your having fun.
We celebrated by going to Nashville and shooting guns. That’s right people. Guns as an anniversary gift! I told you it was awesomeness.
First, we got to Nashville and went to eat at a restaurant called The Pharmacy, but it was one of those yuppie places and had a 1 hour wait. It was Voted Nashville’s #1 Burger 2013 and Best New Restaurant in 2012, and voted the longest wait in history by me. We weren’t about to wait, so we grabbed a quick bite on the way to the Armory.
Once we were at the Armory, we looked around a bit. It is basically a gun shop and indoor range in one. We ended up shooting one of my favorite handguns and an IMI Uzi (MP2). We went through six boxes of 9mm target rounds. They were brass casings and we took all of the casings with us afterward.
Then we went to eat at M.L. Rose for Dinner. This place was pretty good. They had some good loaded waffle fries (think nachos but with waffle fries). We both had the Nite Owl Burger. Gen had a Woodchuck hard cider and water. I had a couple local brews (Highland Black Mocha Stout & Blackstone Saint Charles Porter) and water. If it isn’t too hot outside, sit out back. It is real nice back there.
Then we went to Losers and Winners for a couple drinks. Typical bars, nothing grand. The reason for this instead of the river is that these are in the area where all the locals were, but the river is the tourist trap where fights always break out.
Then we went home and talked ALOT on the way home.
