I wanted to at least take a one day break from making snares, and decided to send you this video instead today. One of the first animals that most people get into when they want to be self-sufficient, or just want to be in control of their food quality instead of relying on mass-produced chicken meat, is the chicken. They are easy to take care of and have a relatively efficient output.
Most people end up keeping chickens for eggs, but when they get older and stop laying, or you get a loud rooster that you just want gone, then you have to learn how to butcher a chicken on your farm… that is unless you want to pay someone to do so, but the cost of that is too much for the hassle.
Another thing to note is, how quickly and calmly the chicken is taken… much better than mass production.
The first video is about draining and defeathering the chicken:
The second video is how to clean the chicken:
As I write tips for your adventures and hear about cool gear, I will let you know all about it!
